Mission Operations & Analysis

PDI provides embedded, all-source analysis experts to support mission operations and long-term, multi-INT analysis requirements.

PDI subject matter experts draw upon decades of experience in tactical and strategic SIGINT, MASINT, HUMINT, IMINT, and OSINT, tasking, collection, analysis, fusion, and reporting. They interact daily with decision makers within the Intelligence Community, and peripherally with customers at each of the Combatant Commands. They routinely apply critical thinking and analytic skills gained in intelligence operations, multi-INT analysis, multi-platform ISR and data fusion techniques to military operational support, and homeland defense and security.

PDI experts have created and refined a methodology for analyzing trends, applications, anomalies, and employment of communications technologies when none was evident or possible before. Traditional communications analysis relied on resolving and “listening” to the internal message conveyed by a communications link; these new methods seek to reveal users, trends, and weaknesses through the use of metadata only, dramatically reducing the number of necessary internals analysts – a huge benefit in this time of reduced resources. Additionally, PDI analysts are well-versed on geospatial metadata analysis and visualization. Contemporary intelligence data analysis, regardless of “INT,” requires easy manipulation and geospatial visualization for any customer to view, interpret, and comprehend in a manner that makes that intelligence data effective and useful. PDI experts are on the cutting edge of developing and implementing the latest advanced techniques in geospatial metadata analysis and display.

Despite today’s focus on tactical intelligence, long-term strategic threats could pose themselves in any number of ways. PDI recruits and trains from all intelligence disciplines, and because of our multidisciplinary approach, have been selected as the trainer of choice for one customer’s new effort to train the Geospatial Metadata Analyst of the future within the Global Enterprise.

PDI analysts support a number of different customers while embedded in multiple locations and levels, to include headquarters elements as well as field units located in Georgia (CENTCOM), Texas (SOUTHCOM), and Hawaii (PACOM). By virtue of those relationships, our analysts are accustomed to supporting national-level strategic customers as well as company-level tactical customers in near-real time. PDI understands the intelligence needs of these customers in today’s strategic and tactical environment in ways that few companies can.
